PORTAL

The Bengal Silicon Valley Tech Hub is an Innovative Information Technology hub cutting-edge technology,
which is envisioned to attract investment in IT/ITeS/Telecom projects with employment potential. The 200
acres land is allotted on a 99-year lease basis by HIDCO’s land allotment system developed by WBEIDC.

The land allotment developed by WBEIDC have the following features:

o Registration by entrepreneurs
o Booking of plots after application form submission.
o Live status tracking.
o Online payment gateway for payment of EMD amount and final payment.
o Mail and SMS notification.
o Screen Reader Access.
o Admin modules for managing the entire process.

As there was an urgency to start the land booking process, HIDCO had given a very stringent timeline for
completing the portal. People at WBEIDC dedicated all their energy and expertise on the project and
successfully delivered the fully functional portal within 1 month time window. The main success factor of this
project surfaced up as 60% of the plots being booked within very first 2 days of the application after GO-LIVE.
