Training of Master Trainers
It has been seen in the recent past that most of the great security breaches were due to some kind of participation
by the insiders in the activity – be it weakness or stupidity. It is often said that employees are the weakest link. But do
they at all know which document or which information to access or which link to avoid? That identification requires
proper training. Keeping this in mind, Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE), Govt. of WB, decided to impart a
training named “Training of the Master Trainers on Cyber Security”. CS-CoE approached to all Institutes of Higher
Learning in West Bengal to nominate one of their officers who are conversant in IT to become Information
Technology Security Officer for that specific Institute of Higher Learning. The training intended to make those
officers Cyber Hygiene Champion in their respective organisation where they will implement all the basic principles
and hygiene related to cyber security. Also they were explained the importance of self learning.
