Shri Prodip Mukhopadhyay, MD, WBEIDCL said, “All of us
are living in the cyber space. Crime is happening mostly
in cyber space rather than in physical space.Earlier there
used to be cases of pickpocket and snatches. Physical
pickpocket/snatching can be few thousand rupees but in
cyber space it can be in lakhs and sitting at a cozy corner
of your room. So this is becoming the trend of the
society. We need protect ourselves and our Government
systems also. It is because of our lack of hygiene
practices in the cyber space most of these things are
happening.Proper cyber hygiene, end point security,

network security, all these things are very important.”

Shri Asok Bandyopadhyay – Jt. Director of C-DAC
(Kolkata) expressed immense pleasure and said that C-
DAC is into this kind of training for quite some time.
Organizing this kind of program by West Bengal Govt is
really a very advance thing because not all states are at
this level and the kind of training the participants are
imparted on.
