Second position was achieved by the team Road Runner Presented by Himanshu Pahadia. Their Bengalathon
solution was based on the problem statement Road Safety. Solution name was Smart Road.

The solution basically leverages the current surveillance camera infrastructure and works on top of that. The video
intelligence engine is built using top notch AI technologies. And after doing all the analytics and crunching of data,
results are given back. Smart Digital Gantries (Part of Education E of 5Es) – are signage that will be interconnected
with the Video intelligence engine in real-time and give contextual information to the travellers. There is an accident
detection system using video feed, once an accident has detected, it will inform on the gantries leading up to the
location that an accident has taken place 1 Km ahead. Using this information, people will have a smoother
experience as they can reroute their way to the destination. Dynamic speed is also a feature of the video intelligence
engine. It also shows weather conditions, temperature and wind information. At the bottom, it will also show the
traffic rules that people need to follow.

Second one is an IoT based medical dispenser with data analytics, which can be used easily by the elderly enabling
them to take medication without hassle. This system automatically dispenses the prescribed drugs accurately,
resulting taking daily medications independent, simple and efficient. The revenue model is: Direct Sale: Rs. 3200 -
    3500 and Distributor price: Rs. 2500 - 2700.
