In his short and inspiring address to the participating
police personnel, Shri Rajeev Kumar (IPS), made a note
on the prayer that people used to do long back when
there was only tribal society. That time also people
prayed for such power so that they can do better than
everyone but wished the next generation must do even
better than them. Our prayer has not changed. What we
did is all okay. But our next generation, that is you,
should do better than us – he said.

Shri Sanjay Kr. Das, WBCS (EXEC), Jt. Secretary to the Dept of IT & Electronics, Govt of West Bengal, briefed about the
trainings being carried out by The Cyber Security – Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE) and while talking about the First
Responder Training (FRT), he said that first response is a response that comes out first as a reaction.

He observed, “Crime is happening right at this point of
time. Most of your mobile phones has its data on, GPS
on, microphone on, camera on, whatever we are
speaking, each and every word is captured, is heard by
somebody. Whatever we do we are tracked, monitored
and our data are mined, analyzed and sold. So crime is
happening all around us. We are lucky that all of them
are not reported. But that day is not too far when zero
crime reporting will be a reality”.
