Even though Corona virus pandemic is there, we heartily welcome the Bengali New Year and wish all of you and your
family very healthy, happy and prosperous new year. We expect soon we will get back to our normal rhythm of life
defeating the Corona virus.

We, at WBEIDCL, being the nodal agency of the West Bengal Government for promoting IT and Electronics
industries, are looking forward to overcome these challenging times through practicing usage of remote working
mechanisms, exploring new methods and practices by emphasizing on innovating our products and services.

In order to spread the idea of innovation and ideation, we are committed to create platforms of idea generation
focusing on emerging technologies. Keeping our steadfast focus on latest technologies, Cyber Security awareness
program were conducted at the Cyber security CoE in February, by WBEIDCL in collaboration with the Department of
IT&E. Also, Cyber Security Orientation Training for Direct Recruit Officers of West Bengal Police were held.

In the month of February, Shri Rajeev Kumar, IPS, Principal Secretary, Dept of IT&E, Govt of West Bengal along with
other Departmental and WBEIDCL officials had represented the IT&E Department in the 23rd National Conference
on e-Governance, which was held in Mumbai, Maharashtra on 7-8 February 2020.

Work is in progress to setup a Centre of Excellence with Japanese tech major Fujisoft and partners, which would
impart education and training on cutting-edge technology on machine learning, cyber-security, 3D printing, robotics
process automation etc to catalyse innovation.

I would like to take this opportunity to express our immense gratitude for the unconditional support extended by
our customers, business associates, stakeholders and well-wishers during these trying times. We look forward to
your continued support, which will culminate in West Bengal building upon its leadership position in information
technology and electronics industry.
