In the background of the second surge of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is now obvious that a seismic change is
being experienced by the technology industry, the ramifications of which will be felt at least in the short term.
This may alter the customer experience landscape significantly, and we must be both responsible and
responsive in meeting this challenge.

Even under the present scenario, West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation is continuously
striving to remain focused on facilitating information technology investments, creating an innovation
ecosystem, building relevant skillsets among our talented citizens and leveraging IT for holistic development of
the State.

By making key infrastructure available via online methodologies, focusing on new emerging technologies,
helping remote working mechanisms, inculcating a spirit of innovation, building skills, safeguarding digital
assets and a variety of allied moves, we are continuing the active efforts to achieve the technology leadership
of West Bengal.

With these steps, WBEIDC remains focused on promoting IT initiatives, innovation and infrastructure of the
State. Various initiatives are being taken to establish West Bengal as a hub of new and emerging technologies.
Our commitment is to the people of Bengal and we will continue our efforts to sustain the growth momentum
of our State.
