The basic hardware is a modular architecture with Sensor and Communication modules. The Sensor boards handles
the tasks of data acquisition, procession and storing with sampling time of a few milli-second under the control a
PSoC from The Cypress Semiconductor. Whereas the Communication Module handles the GPRS data
communication with the cloud serer with a periodicity of 1 min. Apart from this the module also has various EIA
interfaces like RS485, Rs232, USB etc. for data transfer to a local PC.

NMT-01 has all the features of common sound level meter like Time weighting (Slow /Fast etc.) and Frequency
weighting (A, B, C, Z). It calculates 1 min Leq along with dB Max and dB Min values. Application dash board can
display history trend for several hours / day / months etc. It is also possible to calculate Leq for any duration with 1
min resolution. Apart from this statistical calculations, L10, L50, L90 of noise are also performed by the system.

In the event of communication / link
failure NMT01 is capable of storing the
data for a period of 76 days. The
product is very much price competitive
with imported counter-part.

Online Examination Centre
This e-Test facility was set-up in Year 2007. The ‘Online Examination Centre Facility’ – having capacity of around 250
computers connected in Network with proper back up of 2 UPS of 20KVA each and is under CCTV Surveillance. The
Centre is operated with Zero Defect reliability and 100% up time during Examination, which is mandatory for online
examinations. The facility is maintained and managed by Webel Education at Webel HRDC, Taratala (Kolkata). As an
