The network have had been scalable as well as flexible so that future expansions and enhancements can be
made in keeping with the rapid growth of technology and growing demands. Future augmentations and
expansions should not require forklift upgrades for any of the ICT components to be deployed now.

Based on the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister and Hon’ble MIC to the Panchayat and Rural Development
Department of West Bengal, they had expressed their desire to educate their staffs in Digital Literacy at the
Gram Panhayat administration level.

After several discussions with Dr.
Akansha Bhaskar, IAS, the Member
Secretary to STARPARD, the SWD
team of WEBEL have been
entrusted to impart the above
referred offline training for all
Pradhans and Upo-Pradhans of the
3207 Gram Panchayats spread
across 20 Districts of the state of
West Bengal.

Total targeted Participants were 6380 and the whole training was completed within one and half months.
