As an ongoing initiative, this Centre is being utilised by Online Examinations Service Providers like Eduquity,
TCS, MeritTrac, Prometric, SMS Enterprise, etc. for conducting National-level UG, PG, Professional examinations
and other Human Resource examinations of Corporate entities viz. RBI, LIC, GIC, Staff Selection Commission,
CAG, HAL, CAT, GATE, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), BITSAT, AIIMS, JIPMER, AIMA-MAT, GMAT, TMI-MAT,
SMU, KIIT University, FIITJEE, AIR Force CAT, ICAR, DS, IPO, Nursing, WB Transport Dept., DRDO, RPF, SRM
University, GITAM University, Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME), SMU, Banks (IBPS)-
UBI, SBI, UCO Bank, IIT HESS Exam (IIT Chennai), CMC (Vellore), Post & Telegraph, Delhi University, ISI, JNU,
etc.
Government Sponsored Skill Development Training Projects
This initiative aims towards enhancement of employability through skill development in IT, Electronics, ITeS
and associated Sectors for beneficiaries belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, BPL, Minorities, OBCs,
PwD, Safai Karmacharies, Scavengers, School drop-out candidates, etc. The training cost is sponsored by the
Government for the purpose of training to up lift the lifestyle of beneficiaries by enabling them towards
employability after successful completion of training programme. This Initiative has successfully catered
training to 14000 numbers of candidates in the states of West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura &
Jharkhand
Webel has received the aforesaid Sponsored Training orders from Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment,
(GOI), National Backward Class Finance & Development Corpn. (GOI), National Handicapped Finance
Development Coprn. (GOI), National SC & ST Finance & Development Coprn. (GOI), National Safai Karmachari
Finance & Development Coprn. (GOI), National Institute of Orthopedically Handicapped (GOI), Society for
Unemployed Youth (GoWB), West Bengal SC & ST Development & Finance Corpn. (GoWB), Department of
Sundarban Affairs (GoWB), Ministry of Minority Affairs (GOI), West Bengal etc.
Awareness Training on e-Commerce using Smartphone for Self Help Group & Unemployed Youths
Webel has taken initiative for Awareness
generation towards SHG members &
unemployed youths through workshops on e-
commerce using Smartphone applications. The
objective of this initiative is to improve livelihood
of the target group by enhancing their
knowledge base through digital platform and
step up to virtual market place.
E-commerce enables new and existing businesses
to venture into the market and reach potential customer without the need for physical presence. The
importance of electronic commerce in the marketplace has revolutionised the way of doing business.
