The objective of Webel Learning Services is to provide quality training inputs to all deserving youths with a
view to make them employable in the Industry in the field of IT-ITeS, Electronics, Emerging technologies &
related fields along-with zero downtime online assessment setup for examinations. In addition, impart training
to working professionals of Corporate / Government / PSU sectors for upgrading their skills.

In the field of learning and development, Webel strives to act as
an enabler by empowering the citizens of the state to target
global opportunities. Webel Education is an initiative in
Education & Training with the objective to provide professional
input to students who are undergoing or have completed
graduation in different disciplines. In line with Webel’s role as a
facilitator, reputed education partners have been involved in
delivering the training programs.

Webel will continue to facilitate capacity building both in mature technologies and emerging technologies to
inculcate the workforce with the necessary and relevant skills and capabilities in the emerging technologies,
thus creating Bengal as the destination of choice for technology business globally.

Scope of Work
o Motivating the Youth of the State towards Education & Training in IT/ITeS, Electronics & related fields
towards making them industry ready.
o Empowering backward class, minority and divyang candidates for technical skill upliftment and further
enhancing socio-economic improvement through government sponsored skill development projects.
o Online training through virtual platform.
o Effective and efficient delivery of training pursued through partnering with reputed Companies who are
well established in the IT training industry with a deep understanding of the subjects and having the
technical expertise to render such training.

Online Examination Centre

This e-Test facility was set-up in Year 2007. The ‘Online
Examination Centre facility’ - having capacity of around
250 computers connected in Network with proper back
up of 4 UPSs. The centre is under CC TV Surveillance. The
Centre is operated with Zero Defect reliability and 100%
up time during Examination, which is mandatory for
online examinations. The facility is maintained and
managed by Webel Education at Webel HRDC, Taratala
(Kolkata).
