He said that there is a lot of data generated by various
infrastructure elements that are being used in various
sector. So there is a lot of data getting generated by the
operations within each of the sectors. There is a new saying
that data is the new oil – means there is a lot of value in data.
The important thing is not having the data but what is being
done with the data. How somebody is going to securely
distribute it, securely use it and own it with the right level of
access control. So the key thing is every customer in the IoT
wants to adapt and move forward towards transforming
their business, they want business value from the data.

He focused on the billions of devices that are going to be connected in next few years. Main thing how to connect those
devices or assets securely, manage those connections and manage the end to end deployment of this technology from the
shop-floor censor to a device and then get the data to the right place with the right optimization.
