    He noted that there is continuous change in IT scenario. One has to be sensitive to that and get himself adapted to
    the particular skill. New areas are opening up and there is huge job prospect in the fields of Cyber Security, IoT,
    Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence etc. These days everything is done through IT applications. It will continue to
    develop and hence opportunities are there. The students need not be disturbed at all.

     Technology Senate Bangla 2019 by Express Computers

    Technology Senate, organised by Express Computer – a part of The Indian Express Group, is an annual gathering of
    the brightest and the biggest names in IT deployment in India. This innovative format has set a new benchmark in IT
    events  through  conference  sessions,  networking  opportunities,  technology  showcase  exhibition  and  performance
    achievement recognition [award ceremonies].

    Looking at Bangladesh’s potential to become an ICT hub
    and how Digital Bangladesh Vision has become a reality,
    Express  Computer  hosted  the  ‘Technology  Senate:

    Bangladesh’ on 25  and 26  September at The Oberoi
    Grand, Kolkata, wherein about 70 Government as well as
    Enterprise  IT  Decision  Makers  from  Bangladesh  were
    invited.

    The symposium focussed on real-world IT deployments,
    latest solutions and business insights enabling the Indo-
    Bangladesh Digital Confluence.

    Dr. Amit Mitra, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology & Electronics, Finance, Industry, Commerce & Enterprises
    and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises & Textiles Departments, Govt of West Bengal, graced the symposium as Chief

                                                             Managing  Editor  Sunil  Jain  on  the  first  day  of  the
                                                             “Technology  Senate  BANGLA”,  Dr.  Amit  Mitra,  Hon’ble
                                                             Minister said that Bengal has been making big headway
                                                             in  the  IT  sector  and  the  state  has  been  growing  much
                                                             faster than the national average (the state’s GSDP grew
                                                             12.58%  in  FY19  versus  6.8%  expansion  in  the  nation’s
                                                             GDP). Also, tax collections by the state have been more
                                                             robust than the Centre with efficient use of IT. He said
                                                             Bengal is the first state to integrate its treasuries with core
                                                             banking solution (CBS) of RBI, called e-Kuber, for making
                                                             e-payments,  which  increased  compliance  and  tax
                                                              collections.
