    To equip the state police forces with new cyber tools and in-depth knowledge on digital evidence identification,
    preservation, collection and analysis, the Department of IT & Electronics (through CS-CoE) has rolled out intensive
    training programs on Cybercrime for Police personnel of different levels and Govt officials with C-DAC (Kolkata) as the
    Knowledge Partner in this endeavor. The course aims to impart an overall understanding of networks, various types of
    cyber-attacks and the handling of digital evidence.

    The  On  Job  Training  (OJT)  on  Cyber  Awareness  was  held  for  senior  government  officers  on  06.09.2019  at  the
    Administrative Training Institute. The same was carried on for 5 days starting from 16.09.2019 for Government officials
    where District Nodal Officers participated.

    The  “Cyber  Security  Orientation  Training  (CSOT)  for  Direct  Recruit  Officers  of  West  Bengal  Police”  rolled  out  on
    25.11.2019 at the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Salt Lake, Kolkata.
