Dr. Somobrata Dutta, an Independent Director is a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an Advocate. He is the Managing Partner of Delphi Juris, Advocates & Solicitors firm with offices in Kolkata and Mumbai. He is the former Chairman of the EIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a distinguished member of the International Council of Jurists, London and an accredited expert mediator and arbitrator.

He has worked with the Planning Commission and BRPSE for disinvestment and restructuring of Government of India CPSUs. He has spent a long time in Big Four consulting Firm as a deals professional managing global listings in the London, Hong Kong and NASDAQ stock exchanges besides marque transactions with private equity. He works with Governments, multilateral institutions, regulatory bodies and Global funds worldwide and managing structuring and consummating project finance, FDI and developing strategy for governance & litigation management. In India he practises Civil, Constitution, criminal and administrative laws & advising and representing the clients on various legal matters.

Dr. Dutta as a Chartered Accountant set the National Accounting and Auditing Standards and along his eventful career drafted the laws on India's land acquisition and relief and rehabilitation besides reforms of capital markets working with several high powered government and parliamentary committees. He is also a member of the Audit Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of WBEIDC.
